Depression

Depression can be a nightmare. Often times, there is an overwhelming feeling of pain and sadness. This is often accompanied by difficulty getting out of bed in the morning, lack of motivation, apathy, no longer finding interest in activities or subjects that once brought you joy, feelings of guilt, beliefs about worthlessness, decreased energy, toxic shame, hopelessness for the future, irritability, trouble finding happiness, and perhaps even a desire to die. Depression often lies to us, too. It tells us that we’re not good enough, that we’re a burden, that we’re not worth seeking help.

I’m here to tell you that those lies that depression tells you are just that: lies. You are good enough, you’re not a burden, and you are worth seeking help. If you are struggling with self-esteem, self-judgment, sadness, or feeling low, I would love to help you.
