As a Professional:

I am a queer licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Washington (PY61362337) who is passionate about the intersection of mental health and social justice. I earned my Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from Loma Linda University, and completed my doctoral internship at Central Washington University’s Student Counseling Services. I have trained at such sites including university counseling centers, community mental health, partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient program (PHP/IOP) for eating disorders, and residential treatment for substance abuse. I am a proud member of the Living Room, which is a collective of therapists dedicated to anti-oppression work.

In addition to providing therapy, I am also a frequent contributor to Highly Sensitive Refuge.

As a Person:

As valuable as the client-therapist relationship is, I also recognize that we are first and foremost people. I believe genuine, human connection is incredibly valuable. So, on a personal level, I love getting in touch with the natural beauty here in the PNW and am obsessed with hiking. I am a massive fan of all things Disney (The Hunchback of Notre Dame is my favorite, in case you’re wondering). I enjoy cooking, baking, and experimenting with new recipes. I appreciate unwinding with a good book and cup of tea. And, most importantly, I am a proud dog mom to my rescue dog, Molly.

Acknowledgment:

I want to acknowledge my areas of privilege: I identify as white, cisgender, thin, and able-bodied. I aim to always be learning about how my privileges have affected my life, how this may result in me missing or not fully understanding certain things, and how people who have been marginalized within these identities have been impacted.

I would like to acknowledge that we are on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
